Program Benefits

  • $20,000 in Down Payment Assistance for eligible homebuyers
  • Use the funds toward your down payment or to buy down your interest rate (any remaining funds may be applied to the down payment and/or closing costs)
  • No interest, no payments, non-forgivable 30-year second mortgage
  • No first-time homebuyer requirement

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be employed in an Essential Worker profession (healthcare, education, public safety, construction, and more)
  • If there are multiple borrowers, only one must meet the essential worker requirement
  • Must be a Nevada resident for at least 6 months
  • All borrowers must complete a homebuyer education course prior to closing
  • Household income up to 150% of Area Median Income (limits vary by county)
  • Maximum home price of $832,750
  • Must not have previously used a Home Is Possible program
  • Home must be occupied as your primary residence
