Social Media Participation Guidelines
For you and your fellow Members’ protection and enjoyment, please keep the following participation guidelines in mind when connecting with us on social media.
- We reserve the right to remove posts that are vulgar, offensive, inappropriate, or that violate laws or regulations.
- For your privacy and security, we are unable to discuss, provide, or address specific account information or concerns via social media. While we will do our best to answer general feedback or concerns via social media, we will only provide one-on-one account assistance in person or via our Member Service Center.
- Please do not post private information such as your account number, Member number, PIN, social security number, phone number, or any other sensitive personal information on our social media sites. One Nevada Credit Union will never request any information, other than your name, through social media.
Social Media Public Use Policy
To ensure exchanges that are productive, informative, respectful of diverse viewpoints, and lawful, we will review all comments. We will not post, or may remove, comments that are:
- Off Topic and not related to the subject of the conversation;
- Spam, an attempt to sell or promote a product or service or are intended to drive website traffic for personal, political, or monetary gain;
- Personal Attacks, disrespectful to others, have malicious intent, or are not in the spirit of civil conversation;
- Illegal or violate laws governing use of copyrights, trade secrets, etc.;
- Offensive, contain profane or provocative language, or include threatening, hateful, offensive, derogatory, obscene, or sexually explicit language;
- Private, confidential, or contain specific account details or other personal information;
- In HTML format or contain site links; or
- From individuals under age 13.
