Stuck at Home? Spend Your Time Productively

COVID-19 has created new life challenges and disrupted daily routines for many of us who are now stuck at home. There may be light at the end of the tunnel in terms of states developing their re-opening plans, but we're all likely homebound for a bit longer. Here are some at home ideas to help you stay productive and keep moving your life forward.

  • Exercise at home.
An at-home workout can burn all those calories without the fear of being exposed to COVID-19. There are many exercises you can do without equipment, like lunges, squats, planks, sit-ups, and more. If you're missing the support and camaraderie of group gym classes, search Facebook for live, video class streams offered by many major gyms. Or, search YouTube for thousands of exercise routines you can do right from home.
  • Tend to those household repairs.
We all know about those household repairs we've been putting off. Now is a great time to get that stuff done. If you need tools and supplies, it's best to order them online instead of running to the store.
  • Brush up on your financial knowledge.
Of course, we're kinda partial to this category, but it's because we know beefing up your financial knowledge can help you make informed financial decisions. Here's the great news! Your One Nevada membership offers several ways to help you build your financial knowhow.
    • Cent$ible, our free, financial knowhow program. Visit Cent$ible for  short, interactive learning modules covering over 50 different financial topics, including budgeting, building emergency savings accounts, debt management, and more.
    • Join a webinar
Register for one of our upcoming webinars including Identity Theft, Homeownership, and Understanding Credit.
    • Catch-up on blog articles
Read up on all of our blogs covering a variety of financial topics.
  • Declutter
Carve out some time to spring-clean your home. It can be hard to organize all the stuff, but we suggest making piles for throwaways, giveaways, and keepers. Give your cleared-out closets and drawers a thorough scrubbing while you're at it. There's no better time to freshen up the house than springtime!
