One Nevada Credit Union to Host Free, Community Shred Day to
Benefit "SPCA of Northern Nevada"
Spring cleaning may be all the rage, but fall is actually the best time of year for decluttering your home of all those piles of paper that you've been accumulating. One Nevada wants to help you safely dispose of personal documents you no longer need by hosting a free, community shred day at its Plumb Lane Branch to benefit SPCA of Northern Nevada. The free shred day will be held on Thursday, September 28 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 1296 E. Plumb Lane, in the Costco shopping center.
This event is just in time for members in the community that are getting ready for winter by doing a little decluttering this fall. Anyone in the community can attend the event and safely dispose of up to three boxes of personal documents, to include recyclable paper products, envelopes and newspapers. The shred event is free, but One Nevada has partnered with local non-profit organization, SPCA of Northern Nevada, to collect donations.
"Fall is the perfect season to get your home in order and attending One Nevada Credit Union's free shred day is the safest way to properly dispose of those confidential documents you need to shred that have been stacking up around the house," says Breanna Mayorga, Plumb Lane Branch Manager. "We are excited to offer this free shred day to the community and to be able to support SPCA of Northern Nevada."
In addition to free shredding services, SPCA of Northern Nevada will have an information booth at the event and introduce pets up for adoption.
