Online Help: Managing Your Account

Summary

The Accounts tab will show you a general overview of your account. At the top of the page, you will see your member number and the address we have on file. While under the Account tab and subtabs, you may click the Printer Friendly button in the upper right-hand corner. This creates a page formatted specifically for printing.

Insured Accounts Summary

The Insured Accounts Summary section displays a general overview of your insured accounts, including the account title, type, balance and available balance.

Insured accounts include:

  • Savings
  • Money markets
  • Share certificates
  • Checking
  • Individual retirement accounts

To view the details of an insured account, click on the Account Title. Your current transaction activity will then be displayed.

You may also view up to three months of your account history by going to the Next History Date Range, selecting dates using the fields provided and clicking More History. If you are looking at the details of your checking account, you can view a copy of the check by clicking on the check number.

Your savings are federally insured for $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration, a U.S. Government Agency.

Uninsured Accounts Summary

If you are an investor with CUSO Financial Services (CFS), the Uninsured Accounts Summary section displays a general overview of your uninsured accounts, including the investment, type, market date, number of shares or units, price and value.

Loan Summary

The Loan Summary section displays a general overview of your loans, including the loan title, type, balance, available balance, rate, payment and the due date.

To view the details of your loan, click on the Loan Title. Your current transaction activity will then be displayed.

You may also view up to three months of your account history by going to the Next History Date Range, selecting dates using the fields provided and clicking More History.

Credit Cards

The Credit Cards section displays an overview of your credit card accounts.

To view the details of your current credit card cycle, click on the credit card number, or the View Details button on the corresponding row. You will then be taken to a separate screen where you can view transaction history, view your statement, add or remove a card on your account, Design Your Own Card design and more.

Change Current Member

If you have more than one member number, this option allows you to immediately logout of the current member number’s session and login with a different member number.

To change the current member:
  1. Enter the new member number.

  2. Enter the password for the new member number.

  3. Click on Login.

Transfer Funds

This option allows you to transfer funds between your accounts. The completion of a transfer is subject to the availability of sufficient funds in the account you are transferring from. If you do not have sufficient funds, the transaction will not be completed. If you have a cross-account transfer set up, you may also transfer funds to another member number.

To transfer funds:
  1. Click on Transfers tab.

  2. Enter the amount you’d like to transfer in the field provided. Do not include dollar signs or commas.

  3. Select the account you would like to transfer from (only eligible accounts will appear).

  4. Select the account you would like to transfer to (only eligible accounts will appear). If you are transferring funds to a different member number, their eligible accounts will be displayed next to their member number.

  5. Click on Transfer Funds.

Linked Accounts

If you are an investor with CUSO Financial Services (CFS), this option allows you to view your uninsured accounts (i.e. stocks, mutual funds, etc.) with CFS on your SilverLink Online Account Summary page.

To link to an uninsured account:
  1. Click on the Online Service tab.

  2. Click on the Change Online Settings subtab, then on Investment Accounts

  3. Click on Add a New Account and then enter your login ID and password for your investment account. If you do not have a login ID for your investment account, please contact your personal Investment Representative at ONCU/CFS. Your password will be the last four digits of your social security number.

  4. Click on Add Account.

Please Note:

  • Your account number with CFS is not the same as your login ID.
  • Linking to an uninsured account does not allow you to perform any transactions with your CFS account within SilverLink Online.

After you have linked to your CFS account, your uninsured investments will be displayed under your Uninsured Investments Summary on the Account Summary page. If you have uninsured accounts with CFS that are not displayed under your Uninsured Investments Summary on the Account Summary page once you have linked to your CFS account, please contact your personal Investment Representative at ONCU/CFS.

Once you have linked to your CFS account, you will see your login ID, Edit and Delete button.

To edit your link to CFS (you may edit only your password):
  1. Click on Online Services tab.

  2. Click on the Change Online Settings subtab, then Investment Accounts.

  3. Click the Edit button for the brokerage link you would like to edit.

  4. Edit your password.

  5. Click Update Account.

To remove your link to CFS:
  1. Click on Online Services tab, then Investment Accounts

  2. Click on the Change Online Settings subtab.

  3. Click the Delete button for the link you would like to remove.

Export

The Export option allows you to download your financial history to your computer for use with personal financial management software such as Quicken and Microsoft Money. If you would like to download your account history but do not use financial management software, a CSV (Comma Seperated Values) format of your history is also available.

To export your transaction history:
  1. Click on the Accounts and specific account type. Click on the tab.

  2. Click on the Export subtab.

  3. Select the account you’d like to export history for.

  4. Select the date range.

  5. Select an export format.

  6. Click on Download Data.
