Every week we will be answering the top five member questions
most frequently asked at One Nevada Credit Union.
This week we are covering the top 5 questions about branch hours and locations.
Stay tuned each week for more topics!
Q: Why are branches closing?
Technological advances such as mobile and online banking have changed the way our members prefer to do their banking. 70% of One Nevada members don’t visit a branch on a regular basis. However, extensive research and careful planning goes into each branch closure. The decision is based on operational costs versus the member traffic at the specific location and the demand for a branch in that particular location. We understand some members do still want branches and we are continually looking for excellent locations in Southern and Northern Nevada.
Q: Don’t you have a branch closer to the strip?
Our closest branch to the strip is 3630 E Tropicana Ave. However, we also have 46,000 fee-free ATMs in Nevada. You can find many Fee-Free Allpoint Network ATMs closer to the strip. Visit our Locations page, type in your location and search for Surcharge-Free ATMs. Online and mobile banking also allow members to do their banking on the go. Download our app at the Google Play or Apple App store.
Q: When are you going to open more branches?
