Every week we will be answering the top five member questions
most frequently asked at One Nevada Credit Union.
This week we are covering the top 5 questions about fees.
Stay tuned each week for more topics!
Q: What is the monthly fee for checking?
We have several types of checking accounts to meet your unique financial needs. One Checking – $5 monthly fee will be waived when you meet the account requirements, One Checking Rewards – $5 monthly maintenance fee with unlimited cash back on signature-based debit card transactions. Please visit onenevada.org for account requirements and to compare the different types of checking accounts.
Q: Why are your savings accounts $15.00?
Your money earns .05% in interest but brings in no profit to the credit union. This costs the credit union money since we pay insurance on your account (NCUA)
Q: If I am traveling within the United States, is there any way that I can avoid the ATM fees?
We are part of the Allpoint Network which gives members the opportunity to utilize these ATM’s fee-free. You can find the closest Allpoint ATM in your area through our online banking at onenevada.org/locations.
Q: If you are traveling overseas, is there a fee that the Credit Union charges?
There is a 2% conversion fee which changes funds over to US currency.
Q: Is there a way that we can send money to another financial institution without doing a wire transfer or being charged a fee?
ONCU currently does not have the option to send funds ACH to another financial institution, but we can help in setting up Bill Pay so that you can send funds while you are home.
